Personal Information and California Law
This page provides information about privacy rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”), to the extent the law applies to Odortox. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Depending on how you interact with us, categories of personal information may include identifiers and contact information, purchase history, payment or transaction records, website activity, marketing identifiers, approximate device location, and service communications. We may use these categories for order fulfillment, support, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and, if enabled, analytics or advertising.
Your California Privacy Rights
- Right to know and access: ask for information about the personal information collected, used, disclosed, sold, or shared, subject to applicable exceptions.
- Right to correction: request that inaccurate personal information be corrected.
- Right to deletion: ask us to delete eligible personal information, subject to lawful retention exceptions.
- Right to data portability: obtain eligible personal information in a portable format where required.
- Right to opt out: direct a covered business not to sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to limit certain sensitive-data uses: where applicable, limit uses of sensitive personal information beyond legally permitted purposes.
- Right to nondiscrimination: exercise privacy rights without unlawful discriminatory treatment.
Advertising Technologies and the Right to Opt Out
When advertising tags such as Meta Pixel are enabled, certain events, cookie identifiers, and browser signals may be provided to advertising partners. Under California law, some cross-context advertising disclosures may be classified as “sharing” personal information. These activities may create opt-out rights under applicable privacy laws.
If you want to submit an opt-out request now, email support@odortox.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share Request.” Applicable opt-out requests and recognized browser privacy signals should be processed as required by law.
Global Privacy Control and Preference Signals
Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser-based privacy preference signal. Recognized browser signals may communicate privacy preferences protected by California law. You can also contact us using the details below to submit an opt-out request.
How to Submit a Request
Send your request to support@odortox.com and describe the right you wish to exercise. We may ask you to verify that you are the person to whom the information relates, or that you are an authorized agent with appropriate authority.
We aim to respond within the timelines required by applicable law. Some records may be retained when necessary for transactions, security, legal compliance, or other recognized exceptions. If a request cannot be fully granted, we will explain the basis where required.
Authorized Agents and Appeals
A person acting as an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law. We may require verification of identity and authority. If you believe a privacy-rights decision is incorrect, contact us again and describe the decision and why you are requesting review.
Notice at Collection
At or before collection, covered businesses may be required to provide information about personal-information categories, purposes, retention, and any sale or sharing. The details provided at the time of collection should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
